The Filta Group, the global leader in fryer and cooking oil management services and other eco-friendly services, today announced the acquisition of FiltaFry Germany GmbH and the appointment of Jos van Aalst as Managing Director of Filta’s European business. Jos, who previously held the master franchise license for FiltaFry in Germany since late 2015 brings a wealth of experience of sales in Europe to Filta.
A Dutch national who is fluent in both English and German, Jos has a proven record of successfully implementing and leading sales teams across Europe having previously served as Head Buyer of Toys “R” Us, Netherlands and European Development Director of Belkin Limited. During his time at Belkin, Jos was instrumental in building and centralising sales hubs across Benelux and Europe. It is this skillset that has enabled Jos to grow FiltaFry GmbH to seven Franchise Owners operating out of: Dortmund, Berlin, Munster, Frankfurt / Wiesbaden, Nürnberg, Osnabrück and Saarbrücken / Stuttgart. The progression made in Germany has provided Filta with a great platform to build upon and the perfect opportunity to replicate the success of the North America business model in Europe.
