If you have an interest in how things work, have good people skills, ambition and determination to run a successful local business you will fit perfectly. There is no need for any commercial kitchen experience and we will train you in all the services you will need to master such as Fryer management and FOG maintenance.

Running a business on your own is tough, being part of a franchise means you are your own boss but you are never on your own. You can access support from across the franchise network, advice and guidance on all business operations such as HR, accounts, sales, marketing and IT, from the centralised support team.

Yes, you will need to purchase a van. We can connect you with our suppliers who are happy to provide quotes for purchase or leasing. They will also wrap the van in the brand design and even fit the inside to make getting on the road even easier. If you have one already, we can supply the artwork to brand your van.

Filta franchise territories can be purchased for £20k including training. We have a number of initiatives to help you purchase a business, with payment plans and finance options. Contact us to discuss and find out how we can help you get started. You will also need a phone and a laptop.

No but it definitely helps if you have an interest in engineering or are technically minded. Some of our services require some mechanical maintenance to ensure the equipment is working as it should be. As a new franchisee, we are aware you will need to be taught these skills and supported as your knowledge develops but an interest in ‘how things work’ is useful.

We have franchisees that are coming up to 20 years in business. When we accept a new franchisee into the business, we do so because we see a long-term partnership together. We are investing in the development of the brand to become the UK’s commercial kitchen experts.

Our primary target market is commercial kitchens such as restaurant chains, hotels, fast food chains, and takeaways, however many franchisees also provide services for hospitals, schools, airports, and sporting venues too. We have many blue-chip customers that we service as National Account Customers (NACs); these are brought on and managed by our sales team based in our Support Centre.

We have relationships with several lenders. We can also help directly by spreading the cost of your purchase, including your fully branded Filta van and equipment.

Royalties are invoiced each month, we have several schemes that provide incentives for franchisees to grow their businesses. The better you do, the better we do. A true win, win partnership.

The average job value varies depending on the type of work you are carrying out for the customer. For fryer management, as a guide, we would expect the average visit to be between £35-£80, the average job value will vary depending on the number and size of the fryers. The average job value for FOG management is circa £100-200 per visit, but this also varies depending on what Grease Management system they have in place.

You can start on your own, but these businesses are growing very quickly, so the ambition to add to your team is encouraged.

We have several great suppliers that can support you with finance for a van. Before you launch, they can rack it out for your equipment and MFU (Mobile Filtration Unit) and wrap it in our Filta livery.

We have a well-run business model that is proven to work and can make you a very healthy income. In addition, the business can be sold on in the future, netting you a sum to reinvest in your next venture or for a comfortable retirement. Commercial kitchen services are increasing in demand, with our support, we can help you grow the business and plan for a longer-term future beyond you physically carrying out the work yourself.

We provide a tailored course that combines some time spent with the support centre team and time out into the field. Coupled with a visit to another Filta territory. We try to provide you with a well-rounded experience that gives you the confidence to step into your new role. Designed to suit you, whether you’re keen to complete it as quickly as possible or spread it over several weeks, we can work around you.
